We are located in Sault Ste Marie which lies in Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula.  We are surrounded by the St. Mary's River and Lake Superior.  Our town is best know for the famous Soo Locks!

We, the Sault Alternative Education Center Staff, believe that the Center's purpose is to educate all students, while fostering growth in social and emotional behaviors and attitudes.  We believe, that given time, all students can learn and master basic skills and high school curricula.  Understanding that we serve At-Risk students, we accept the responsibility to aid students so they may attain their educational potential.
