Mission Statement

The mission of Lincoln Elementary School, in cooperation with parents and community, is to provide an opportunity to nurture intellectual, physical, emotional and social development in children through participation in a comprehensive curriculum presented in a positive atmosphere which will prepare them for roles as productive, responsible citizens.

Goals:
  • The staff will recieve opportunities for inservice training with regard to teaching the scientific method.
  • The staff will recieve inservice training on the Math curriculum as well as methods to teach problem solving techniques.
  • The staff will recieve opportunities for inservice training with regard to the writing process, assessment, rubics, and record keeping.
  • The staff will recieve opportunities for inservice training with regard to cross curricular reading strategies.
