Market Day 2004

| Students in Mrs. Bishop's 6th grade Social Studies classes spent 6 weeks learning economics and entrepreneurial skills in Mini-Society. Each homeroom created their own country and currency as well as methods for getting their currency into circulation. While learning economics skills, students also worked at creating their own businesses. We held two Market Days where students set up their businesses and sold to each other. We also had one International Market Day where we set up all three countries and invited the 5th grade class to shop with us. | |
